Terms

These terms cover your use of 1550 Masterclass, made by Locked Prep (“we”, “us”), an online SAT-prep membership at the1550masterclass.com. By creating an account or starting a membership you agree to them and to our Privacy notice. If you're under 18, please read them with a parent or guardian.

Who can join

You must be 13 or older. When you sign up you confirm that you are, and by ticking that box you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we close it and delete its data.

Plans, billing and automatic renewal

• Free plan — no card needed. Practice Test 1 with its review, 300 Reading and Writing questions, your progress and the leaderboard.
• Full Access — $50 a month, or $125 every 3 months. Prices are in US dollars and payments are handled by Stripe.

How to cancel: log in, open the menu under your name, choose Billing & subscription, then Cancel subscription. It takes effect straight away: you won't be charged again, and you keep Full Access until the end of the period you've already paid for. You can also cancel by emailing the1550masterclass@gmail.com.

Refunds

If you change your mind, cancel within 24 hours of your first payment for a full refund, from the same Billing & subscription screen. This refund can be used once per customer. After 24 hours, payments aren't refunded, but cancelling stops every future charge. Nothing here limits any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

Your account

• One device at a time. A membership is for one person. Signing in on a new device signs the old one out.
• Keep your password to yourself. Don't share, sell or lend your account.
• Fair use. Don't copy, scrape, download in bulk, record, resell or republish the questions, videos or explanations, and don't try to get around the paywall or the site's security.
• Be decent in the Discord server and office hours. We may remove anyone who harasses others.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close a paid account without a good reason, we'll refund the unused part of the current period.

Our content

The practice tests, questions, explanations, videos and the site itself belong to 1550 Masterclass or to the people who licensed them to us. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own study while your account is active.

Anything you add — a profile photo, a name, your answers — stays yours. You give us permission to store and show it on the site (for example, your name on the leaderboard) to run the service. Only post things you have the right to share.

Not affiliated with the College Board

SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, this product. Our questions are written to match the format of the digital SAT, but they are not official College Board material.

No score guarantee

We work hard to help you improve, but how you score depends on you, and we can't promise any particular result. Projected scores on the site are estimates, not predictions.

Copyright and DMCA

We respect copyright and expect members to do the same. If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, send our designated agent a notice that includes:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
• the page address (URL) of the material and enough detail for us to find it;
• your name, postal address, phone number and email;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.

If we remove something you posted because of a notice, we'll tell you, and you may send a counter-notice if you believe it was a mistake. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

The service

We keep improving the site, so features may change. We aim to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, the site is provided “as is”, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it arose.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and email members before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel.
